SCSI Welcomes Waterloo Site Manager and Sales Team Members

SCSI recently welcomed several key additions to the team.


Richard Seres joins SCSI as facility manager for our SCSI-Waterloo location. Richard served in the US Army for 20 years and has held several technical inspection and supervisory positions. As aircraft maintenance supervisor in South Korea, he maintained equipment valued at $750,000+. As a technical inspector, he guaranteed the airworthiness of 34 Blackhawk helicopters worth over $322 million and administered maintenance schedule and quality controls. Richard holds a Bachelors of Science in Management and graduated Drill Sergeant School with a 99% average.

Gene-Gardner-150Gene Gardner joins SCSI as a sales account executive. Gene previously worked at Caterpillar, with service in supplier performance improvement and supply chain planning and served as the VP Operations for HyLoft Inc., an importer of storage items.  Before HyLoft Gene worked 13 years for a furniture manufacturer which became an importer. He started as the Plant Manager and ended as VP Asia Operations.  Gene also was VP/GM for a plating company and metal fabrication in Toronto, Canada. Gene also worked 16 years for an auto supplier, starting in the Maintenance department and ending as Plant Manager.

Eckart Spiecker

Eckart Spiecker joins SCSI as sales manager for Germany. Eckart kicked off his career studying in Germany and France business administration and worked for TRUMPF, the biggest tool machine factory in Germany and the United States. Eckart then built up a subsidiary in Germany for a French company before he launched his own company in Germany. For 16 years, Eckart operated as business manager in the field of transport and logistics, human resources, marketing and packaging. As the needs of the market changed, Eckart joined PARAVAN, a leading company in the field of mobility for disabled persons. During two years he successfully built up the sales structure in France for this company.

Tim-WuTim Wu joins SCSI as sales engineer for SCSI-Shanghai. Prior to SCSI, Tim worked five years at Huasheng Fujitec Elevator Co. Ltd. and four years at SPX Corporation. He graduated from East China Normal University.
