SCSI uses the most advanced and reliable technology available in an effort to ensure the inspection services we conduct provide the most value to our customers and deliver the results they expect. Critical functional characteristics require equipment with precise measuring capabilities such as CMMs (coordinate measuring machines).
Depending on the size of components, and the tolerances of their features, SCSI is equipped with a variety of CMMs – from portable Romer arms to high precision CMMs in all sizes. Our CMM Operators and Programmers go through rigorous training to ensure accurate results and repeatable processes. Operators learn how to set up parts correctly to guarantee consistent measurement, as well as how to calibrate probes, execute programs, and troubleshoot. Programmers are trained in math, GD&T, CMM Operation, surface plate layout techniques, and PC-DMIS programming. If you have an urgent need, our programmers can write for hot parts before they even arrive at our facility.
PLUS: Receive a free copy of your job’s program. This saves time and money for repeat checks of parts.
