Bryan Bowman, SCSI’s Thailand Country Manager, spoke at the Automotive Focus Group’s debate, held May 29 at the Holiday Inn in Pattaya, Thailand. The focus of this event was to explore and identify the current challenges in the Thailand automotive sector and discuss what companies should do to continue to prosper and grow. Bowman was selected to be on the panel group along with two senior experts in the Thailand automotive field. Domestic and export market challenges were discussed as well as the touchy subject of cultural challenges operating in Thailand, the potential effects of the ASEAN and AEC agreements, and the diverse methods that Japanese, and American manufacturing have approached these challenges.
