SCSI is pleased to welcome Frank Weiand as our newest country manager. Frank is spearheading SCSI’s expansion into Vietnam.

“The expansion of our services to Vietnam is exciting for all of us. It will allow us to provide local service to our customers who have already or are planning to set up operations or source products there. We are looking to provide the same services we already provide globally and offer special focus to supplier development. I believe Frank is the right person for this task and can help spread our SCSI culture and excellent service.”

– Bryan Bowman, Thailand Country Manager

Having worked in and with the Thai and German Automotive industry for over 25 years, Frank has a very extensive knowledge in global procurement processes, project management and simultaneous engineering at OEM and T1 supplier, as well as knowledge in quality assurance, sales and business development. Frank has assisted Thai government organizations such as Thai Automotive Institute (TISI), in developing Tx supplier in Thailand based on VDA standards in order to qualify as potential T1 supplier to German OEMs.

Prior to joining SCSI, Frank served in various purchasing and quality functions at BMW Manufacturing Thailand, BMW Germany, Valeo Lighting Systems and Asahi Automotive Glass Company. He also served as a Vice President of the Automotive Focus Group Thailand.
